The Old Rectory Care Home opened in July 2012 by Michael and Philippa Turner after several months of refurbishment on a former health and fitness centre. The Rectory itself has a long and interesting history dating back to the eighteenth century. It was originally constructed as the private residence for the rector of Donnington. The buidling was sympathetically renovated returning its former glory, with many original features maintained.
The Old Rectory is managed by Mrs Philippa Turner, RMA, who is supported by a dedicated team of caring staff who are qualified and experienced to meet the needs of the residents.
Philippa has over 25 years experience within the care sector; 12 years of which was as a successful owner and manager of a care home for elderly frail and EMI residents.
Philippa has a proven record of improving and maintaining high standards within the care sector for older people.
